Hi and welcome! I'm Annette the owner of Beautiful Beginnings Fashion Designs. I started this business because  I was in a high stressed job for over 20 years and realized that I needed a change. Sewing and being creative has always been my passion. I've been sewing since 2002 for family, friends, and coworkers. Since I was a little girl I always wanted to own my own business. But life has it's challenges and sometimes it takes us on many ups and downs before we really take that leap of faith to do what we are passionate about and are called to do. For me, it has taken 23 years for me to take that leap of faith and do what God has told me to do...start the business and watch Him move!

 

I know for many out there, it's frustrating to see a pair of pants in the store only to discover that they are too long. Or that the length may fit but that the waist doesn't fit because of the gap in the back (you know what I mean for those women who have a booty :-)). I know because these are just some of the issues I face when buying clothes from the store. At Beautiful Beginnings Fashion Designs, I offer a variety of clothing alterations, for both women and men, such as hemming garments and adjusting the fit in the waist area.

 

For those who have that favourite garment or outfit that is starting to show wear, tear, and/or rips there are solutions. I offer mending services, again for women and men, from replacing zippers and buttons to doing creative mending and patchwork where the tear is no longer an issue.  

 

For those over 40, the styles in the stores now a days cater to the younger crowd or the clothes lack style. Not cool. As the mature (in age) crowd,  we want to be comfortable but stylish too. At Beautiful Beginnings, it's my mission to create clothing that suit your body and your style keeping in line with your  creative expression. From measurements to pattern, fittings to final garment, I aim for the experience of creating a garment just for you to be comfortable, fun, while maintaining professionalism and excellence. Whether you are looking to refresh your wardrobe with a recreated outfit or a new outfit from scratch, I got you covered. The possibilities are endless!
